Join the staff of the Museum for an exploration of the shoreline ecosystem of the York River. Students will participate in shoreline hands-on activities and learn about diverse animals that live in our own backyard.
Orientation and 3 – 20 Minute Stations:
- The Chesapeake Bay Watershed / Map Study
- Seining on the beach
- Crabbing on the pier
- Clamming on the Beach
Grade level: K – 3
