A Pirates Life For Me

watermensStudents will learn about Yorktown’s colonial maritime history and experience what it would have been like to live and work aboard a pirate ship in the Chesapeake Bay during the early 18th century.

Orientation and 3 – 20 Minute Stations:

  2. A Pirate’s Life
  3. Sail Training
  4. Shivering the Timbers

Grade level: K – 8

Program Location: Watermen’s Museum

Program Length: 1.5 hours
