Chesapeake Bay Ecology

york_river144Join Watermen’s Museum staff as we study the ecosystem of the York River.  Students will learn how to gather and analyze samples as they research water quality, environmental conditions, and biodiversity sampling techniques.

Orientation and 3 – 20 Minute Stations:

  1. The Chesapeake Bay Watershed / Map Study
  2. Water Quality Analysis
  3. Biodiversity Analysis
  4. Habitat Hunt

Grade level: 4-12
