Events

We celebrate the history and the diversity of the many peoples that have and continue to inhabit our area through our many educational and special events.  Our educational programs include information and hands-on activities about American Indian culture, historical portrayals and reenactments, Commercial Watermen activities, and environmental or natural habitat issues. Take a look at our Education Program pages and our Summer Program page for information on programs specifically designed for kids.  We also have many Special Events throughout the year.  Some of these events focus on historic dates, other focus on elements of local culture.  But, all of them are just plain fun!
