We’re having a beach party and picnic on Sunday, August 13. If you are a member or have you volunteered with us during the past year, please join us for a great day of fun with family and friends. Its FREE for our members, volunteers, and their families. Starting at 12 noon, we will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes, and non-alcoholic beverages. Beer and wine will be available for members to purchase. Our Boat Crew is calling on all members and volunteers to bring their boats and join their newly formed ‘Bubba Bay Yacht Club’ for a fun day on the water. We plan to have music, some games for kids and adults, and a lot of great conversations with long-term and new friends. The festivities start at 9:30 AM and run until 4:30. For planning purposes, please send us an email with your name and the number of people you plan to bring in your group. Our email address is: admin@watermens.org. But, if you don’t have email or just forget to tell us, come anyways. We don’t want you to miss out on this great day just because you didn’t tell us in advance that you were coming. Come by golf cart, bike, car, plane or boat. No matter how you get here, come and have a fun day with friends at the great little Museum on Yorktown’s waterfront.
